Happy 1st Anniversary Spalding Designs!
 
Its hard to believe that I has been a year since I officially started the company.  I want to thank all of  you who have helped to make the business a success! 
 
In 2000 I began providing custom building design services for both the commercial and residential arenas.  These projects have included wood framed and pre-engineered steel structures.   Until 2007 these  services were provided on a part-time basis.   In May of 2007 I officially launched the start start up of Spalding Designs L.L.C., as full time building design and consulting firm.

Professional Building Designer
 
  
I am a  1999 graduate of Georgia Perimeter College with an Associates of Applied Science in Drafting.  I also attended Southern Poly Tech in Marietta, Georgia where I studied both architecture and construction.  I have over ten years  of design experience in both the commercial and residential arenas.  During the past eight years I have been involved  in the design process for well over 200 projects.   These projects have ranged in size from a few thousand square feet to over 80,000 square feet.  The value of construction for these projects have ranged from $50,000 to $10 million dollars.  These projects have included churches/religious facilities, office buildings, retail centers, industrial warehouses, and residential structures.
 
I am also a Professional Member  with the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD).  By the end 2008 I look forward to have taken the NCBDC certification exam.  Upon successful completion of the exam, I will be a Certified Professional Building Designer.
